Administrators and managers purchase subscriptions and/or licenses to perform various functions either in MSPComplete, in MigrationWiz, or through add-on services like HealthCheck for Azure. The purpose of this article is to answer commonly asked questions about subscriptions and licenses.

What BitTitan subscription or license options are available?
These BitTitan subscription and license options are available:
- Get Organized and Get Automated plan subscriptions enable you to use MSPComplete to organize your procedures into Runbooks, optimize service delivery into configurable teams, analyze service delivery time and cost estimates, and run PowerShell automation. Plan subscriptions are not applied to agents, they simply set a limit on how many agents you can add to MSPComplete with an administrator, manager, or associate role. Plan subscriptions are valid for one year. Read the MSPComplete Subscription Plans for more information.
- User Migration Bundle licenses enable you to perform multiple migrations of end-user mailboxes, documents, and personal archives; plus Google coexistence configuration, and allows the use of DeploymentPro to perform post-migration Outlook email profile configuration. User Migration Bundle licenses are applied to the customer's users, for whom you'll be performing migrations, and are valid for one year. - Single-use migration licenses enable you to perform one-time migrations of a specific workload, such as Mailbox Migrations, or Public Folder Migrations in MigrationWiz. Single-use migration licenses expire when you perform a migration using those licenses and the migration completes successfully. - Premium service licenses or fees enable you to offer add-on services that compliment your migrations, such as HealthCheck for Azure. Read the Getting Started with HealthCheck for Azure article for more information.
How do I know what subscriptions and licenses I need to buy?
As you attempt to perform a function in MSPComplete or a migration in MigrationWiz, the platforms validate the functions against the subscriptions or licenses you have purchased. If you need to acquire additional subscriptions or licenses, the platforms tell you exactly what you need to obtain and guide you through the process of purchasing the items.
Do I need one MSPComplete plan subscription, or several?
When you register at BitTitan, you get access to MSPComplete and MigrationWiz. Your MSPComplete account is given a default workgroup, and that workgroup is given Get Organized access, which gives you the ability to have agents in MSPComplete at no cost.
To have more than three subscribed agents in MSPComplete, you must purchase more Get Organized subscriptions. To add teams, or run PowerShell automation, you’ll have to purchase Get Automated plan subscriptions for all the agents that will be in MSPComplete. Is there a minimum or maximum number of plan subscriptions that I can purchase?
There is no minimum or maximum number of plan subscriptions that you can purchase. You can purchase a single subscription or as many as you need.
For example, if you want to add 10 agents to MSPComplete so that they can perform service delivery, then you will need to have at least 10 plan subscriptions. Plan subscriptions are not applied to agents, they simply set a limit on how many agents you can add to MSPComplete with an administrator, manager, or associate role.
It’s important to note that when you register at BitTitan, you get access to MSPComplete and MigrationWiz. Your MSPComplete account is given a default workgroup, and that workgroup is given Get Organized access, which gives you the ability to have agents in MSPComplete at no cost.
What happens to my existing licenses if I purchase plan subscriptions?
You can still use the valid licenses, along with the plan subscriptions you purchased.
If I only perform migrations, do I still need to purchase plan subscriptions?
You don't have to purchase plan subscriptions. You can purchase User Migration Bundle licenses or single-use migration licenses to perform migrations.
Why do I need plan subscriptions in MSPComplete if I'm planning to manage customer resources through a first-party portal, such as the Office 365 admin center or the G Suite admin console?
MSPComplete is an end-to-end management system for cloud-based services that also provides many automated services for migrating and managing data. BitTitan constantly adds new services and features to MSPComplete, allowing you to do far more than is possible through those third-party administration portals.
How much does each subscription or license cost?

What are premium services?
Premium services, which incur separate licensing fees, supplement the services covered by standard subscriptions. HealthCheck for Azure is an example of a premium service offered by BitTitan.
How do I purchase subscriptions or licenses?
You can purchase licenses and subscriptions directly from BitTitan by configuring your billing information in MSPComplete. Refer to the Configure Billing Information for a Workgroup article for more information.
You can also purchase them through a distributor, who will issue you a coupon code that you can redeem through the interface. Refer to the Redeem a Subscription or License Coupon article for more information.
How am I billed for subscriptions and licenses charged to a credit card?
BitTitan bills you daily for all purchases made that day. For example, if you buy 30 subscriptions in the morning and 20 in the afternoon, you will be billed a single sum for 50 licenses that day.
MSPComplete retains your credit card information so you do not have to re-enter it for each transaction. Refer to the Update Billing Credit Card for a Workgroup for more information about updating your billing information.
Can I be sent an invoice for charges every month?
Yes, you can set up alternate payment terms, such as monthly invoicing, through BitTitan or your distributor. Contact your sales representative for more information.
What payment methods are available?
All major credit cards are accepted. PayPal is not accepted.
What currencies can I use?
The following currencies are supported for credit card purchases:

- Canadian Dollar (CAD)
- Australian Dollar (AUD)
Can I purchase subscriptions using different credit cards?
Yes. Within MSPComplete, you can define workgroups that bill purchases for different sets of customers to different credit cards. Read the Add and Edit Workgroups article for more information about configuring workgroups, and read the Configure Billing Information for a Workgroup article for more information about configuring billing information for a workgroup.
Are there volume discounts for licenses?
Yes. When you purchase licenses through BitTitan, your cost for each license goes down after you reach a certain number of licenses. Your sales representative can explain the thresholds that qualify you for lower pricing. In short, the more licenses you buy, the lower the price you pay for new licenses. If you purchase licenses through a distributor, contact the distributor for information about volume discounts that may be available.
When does a new subscription or license take effect?
Subscriptions and licenses are valid shortly after you confirm the credit card purchase or redeem the distributor coupon. The one-year subscription period for subscriptions begins then. For this reason, you should purchase subscriptions as you need them when using a credit card, or redeem distributor coupons shortly before you begin to deliver services.
Can I purchase a site license that covers all users for a customer regardless of number?
No. Licenses and subscriptions are sold on a per-user, or per-agent basis only.
Are trial subscriptions available?
Contact your Sales Representative for possible trial information.
For MigrationWiz, trial migrations of user data are limited to 5MB of data transfer or 10 total folder items.
Can I transfer a subscription from one agent to another?
Yes. Each subscription allows you to have one agent in your Workgroup, but the subscriptions do not get assigned to individual agents, they merely act as a cap on your total agent count.
For example, if you have 10 agent subscriptions, you can have up to 10 agents in your Workgroup. If one person leaves and another joins, you do not need to reassign any subscriptions. If you want to add more agents, you would buy more subscriptions to raise your limit.
How do I cancel a subscription if an agent no longer works for my organization?
Subscriptions are paid up front and can be used for a year from the date of purchase. You don't cancel the subscription. Instead, you update the agent's role to inactive when they leave your organization. This frees up the subscription to be consumed when/if a new agent is added.
Do I need to purchase subscriptions for my IT workers who deliver the services for my customers?
No. The IT personnel who use MSPComplete to perform services on behalf of customers do not require subscriptions.
Who can purchase licenses and subscriptions?
Agents with the administrator role can configure billing information for a workgroup. Refer to the Configure Billing Information for a Workgroup article for more information.
Agents with the administrator or manager role can purchase subscriptions and licenses once the billing information configured for the workgroup. Refer to the Purchase Subscriptions or Licenses for a Workgroup article for more information.
How do I find the status of my subscriptions and licenses?
The MSPComplete interface informs you when your subscriptions expire. Read the View Purchased Subscriptions or Licenses for a Workgroup article to view the expiration of your existing subscriptions and licenses.
Do I need to purchase subscriptions before bringing a customer onboard?
No. When you register for MSPComplete, a default workgroup is created and that workgroup is granted Get Organized access at no cost.
However, you will need to purchase subscriptions for Get Automated to perform functions that are only available with that plan subscription. Read the MSPComplete Subscription Plans article for more information.
Can I buy bulk subscriptions in advance?
Yes. You can purchase licenses and subscriptions in advance from a distributor. When purchasing licenses from BitTitan using a credit card, it is better to buy subscriptions as you need them. For example, if you buy 100 subscriptions in January and do not use 20 of them until March, you will not get a full year of benefit from those 20 subscriptions because they will expire in January of the next year.
Are refunds available for subscription and license purchases?
Refunds are available under certain conditions. Read the Request a Subscription or License Refund article for more information.
How long are agent subscriptions valid?
Each agent subscription is valid for twelve months.
What happens when the subscription ends?
When your subscription ends, you will be prompted to renew to keep your Workgroup active. If you were on any paid plan, then the features for those plans will be disabled until you renew those subscriptions.
How do I prevent a subscription from renewing?
Subscriptions don't auto-renew. Instead, they expire 12 months from the date of purchase, and you are given the option to purchase the subscription(s) again.
Do single-use licenses for projects like public folder migration automatically renew?
No. Single-use licenses for one-time migrations are consumed as you perform the migration. With public folder migrations, for example, you purchase a separate license for each public folder that will be migrated. Each license expires once the migration completes.
