Are there any steps required at the Destination before Public Folder migrations?
There are several steps that are required at the Destination when performing Public Folder migrations. These steps differ, depending on the Destination Exchange server.
- Administrative credentials need to be set up.
- Either a Public Folder mailbox, a Public Folder database, or a shared mailbox must exist.
- The administrator has to be given full owner permissions to the root Public Folder (Office 365, Exchange 2013 or 2016).
