You might like to add to your list of possible causes for duplicates:

If you have enabled Archiving for an O365 mailbox and it ships recently migrated emails off to the archive, they will be migrated again if you run a subsequent migrate job.

In this scenario, duplicates will only happen if a reset statistics is performed or items are moved in the source mailbox.  Migrationwiz keeps a watermark table for the source items.  This way it can skip any item that was already migrated.  I will talk to our KB team about adding this scenario as well.  Thank you

    Hello Shivappa,

Apologies for my delayed response. We watermark every item we migrate. so this should not create duplicate items when kicking off your other project. However, to be safe, I would take a small handful of users, and run some trial migration passes for them first. This will only migrate a small amount of items for each user so you can confirm nothing out of the ordinary is happening. Once you feel confident, you can proceed to run your full migration passes as needed.

    Hope this helps.

    Regards,

    Nicholas
