How do I manually gather up user PST files?
Migration from PST files require all PST files to be uploaded to an Azure storage account. The gathering of the PST files prior to the upload can be done manually by the end user/customer, although is much more convenient to use our UploaderWiz tool in PST discovery mode, which will automatically scan the local drives for PST files and upload them to either BitTitan storage or your own Azure storage account.
Most PST files are stored locally on each end user's machine. Sometimes they are on a network share, but this is not recommended by Microsoft, and results in very poor performance and increased network bandwidth utilization.

With this in mind, there are a couple of options to follow to copy all the PST files into a single location so that they are ready to upload to BitTitan storage or Azure.
- The users could be instructed to copy these PST files to their home directories or a network share, from which they could then be uploaded.
- A technical support engineer could either remote into each desktop or go directly to each desktop (this is obviously very time-consuming), and copy them to a USB drive or network share, ready to be uploaded.
