When running the Bootstrap.exe, it is possible for DeploymentPro to run into network errors. These errors will look like this:
[ERROR] 2014-12-22 15:48:50.339 - Failed to send HTTP request for URL https://office365.useractivation.com/Handlers/DesktopDeploymentHandler.ashx?a=Filesx86v3 (12031)
If you see an error like this, copy down the number in parentheses, and read the following Microsoft Knowledge Base support article to determine the exact cause of the error: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/193625
Additionally, here are some more common/general error codes from experience:
If these errors occur, check your internet connection and, if possible, try to connect to a different connection (i.e., Wireless vs LAN) and run the Bootstrap.exe again.
You can also try adding https://office365.useractivation.com to your list of trusted sites in Internet Explorer.
If running through a proxy, you may need to white-list the domain name https://office365.useractivation.com to enable DeploymentPro to connect to our servers.
If you receive Error 12040 (Failed to send HTTP request) locate the registry keys under HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings and check if WarnonZoneCrossing is enabled. This key will need to be disabled during the installation process to allow the agent to install successfully.
