Why are timestamps not preserved when migrating Public Folders to Exchange 2010?
Answer:
The reason for this is a Microsoft code defect in Exchange 2010.
Because of the code defect, MigrationWiz cannot preserve the correct timestamps for any item in a Public Folder when the Destination is Exchange 2010.
MigrationWiz will instead replace the creation date timestamp with a timestamp showing the date of migration.
Note: This Microsoft code defect only comes into effect when the Destination for a Public Folder migration is Microsoft Exchange 2010.
