Administrators and managers can export Runbooks to be modified offline with Markdown and XML. Runbook files can be exported on the Runbooks Page or from active Services in the Delivery Center.

Export a Runbook on the Runbooks Page
Follow these steps to export a Runbook on the Runbooks Page:
- Select the workgroup on the top of the left navigation pane.
- Click Runbooks on the left navigation pane.
- Click the ellipsis for a Runbook, and then select Export Runbook.
Export a Service on the Delivery Center
Follow these steps to export a Service on the Delivery Center:
- Select the workgroup on the top of the left navigation pane.
- Click Delivery Center on the left navigation pane.
- Click an active Service.
- Click the ellipsis on the top-right corner of the page, and then select Export to XML.
The Runbook file downloads to the local drive as a Zip (.ZIP) file. Each of the Tasks in the Runbook are represented as individual Markdown (.MD) files, and the entire Runbook/Service is represented as an Extensible Markup Language (.XML) file.
