Invalid URL: The hostname could not be parsed.

Description

This error indicates that the URL for either the Source or Destination in your project is not valid.

Cause

This usually occurs when you start a project using Exchange Server as a server type, entering data in the URL field, and then switching the server type to ​​Microsoft 365.

Reso​lution

We recommend the following:

1. Click Edit Project.
2. Follow the next steps according to your case.
   Microsoft 365 as Source Microsoft 365 as Destination

   If the Source is Microsoft 365:

   1. Click Source.
   2. Select the Exchange Server 2003+ as the Server Type.
   3. Remove any data that may be in the Outlook Web Access URL field.
   4. Select Microsoft 365 as the Server Type.
   5. Click I'm done selecting my Source.

   If the Destination is Microsoft 365.

   1. Click Destination.
   2. Select the Exchange Server 2007+ as the Server Type.
   3. Remove any data that may be in the Outlook Web Access URL field.
   4. Click Microsoft 365 as the Server Type.
   5. Click I'm done selecting my Destination.
3. Click on Save Project.

You are now able to submit your migration.
