This error occurs when migrating to a PST and the mw-folder ​metadata file is missing in the Destination Azure container. This file is created by the migration process, and if deleted or not present in the Azure container, the migration will fail. To resolve the issue, you will need to perform the following operations:
  • Delete all files in the Azure storage related to that user including:
    • The mw-folder file.
    • The mw-watermark file.
    • The created .pst file.
  • Select the user in MigrationWiz
  • Click on Reset items.
  • Resubmit your migration.
