View, Add, and Edit Customer Gateways

On the Gateways page, you can add new Device Management Agent (DMA) gateways and view existing gateways for a customer. DMA gateway collects information about the computer on which it is installed and performs a discovery scan of the customer’s Active Directory for resources like servers, computers, users, and groups.

Complete these steps to add gateways:

  1. Select the appropriate workgroup, and then click All Customers in the left navigation pane.
  2. Click the name of a customer for which you want to view computers.
  3. Click the Gateways tab.
  4. Click Add Gateway.
  5. Enter a name for the gateway into the Gateway Human-Friendly Name field.
  6. Click Next.
  7. Click Download DMA.
  8. During the installation process, you will be prompted to input the credentials of the account under which the service will be running.

    Important

We recommend you not use your MSPComplete credentials. Instead use an account with administrative access to the company's Active Directory, to avoid feature restrictions due to permission issues.
