Invalid Mailbox Name Error

Invalid mailbox name​.

Folder Not Found: If you encounter this error message in the middle of a migration, the folder we previously discovered was renamed or deleted.

Unable to Create Top Level Folder: If you encounter this error message in the beginning of a migration and IMAP is the Destination server, it is possible that the IMAP server we are migrating to does not ​support the creation of top-level folders.

Resolution:

Folder Not Found: Resubmit the migration. We will discover the new changes and continue from where it left off.

Unable to Create Top Level Folder: Remap all folders under the Inbox by following these steps:

  1. Sign in to your MigrationWiz account.
  2. Open your Project.
  3. Click on Edit Project, then click on Advanced Options.
  4. Under Support options in the Support section, type the following command and then click on the (+) icon:
    FolderMapping="^->INBOX/"
  5. Under Support options in the Support section, type the following command and then click on the (+) icon:
    FolderMapping="INBOX/INBOX->INBOX"
  6. Click on Save Options.
  7. Resubmit your migration.
