What’s New in MigrationWiz?
Manual Region Selection: Google Workspace Destination Endpoints
We've enhanced the manual region selection feature to support the Google Workspace destination endpoints. This capability enables users to choose the specific region where their destination is located or the nearest region. Users can ensure the best possible migration speed and performance during project setup when editing the destination endpoint by making this selection.
Manual Region Selection: Simplified Value Synchronization
When MigrationWiz users select a region in the destination endpoint setup, the chosen value continues to synchronize with the 'Preferred Region of Destination Tenant' setting in the background, even though the dropdown is no longer visible in the 'Advanced Options' section. This ensures consistency throughout the migration project setup process while removing the need for additional MigrationWiz user input.
Teams Private Chat: Security Group-Based User Discovery
We’ve introduced a new feature for filtering users by security groups during Teams Private Chat migrations. Using the “PCHScopeDiscovery=” advanced option, MigrationWiz users can specify a security group to include. During the Autodiscovery phase, MigrationWiz will display only users from the selected group, making migrations more secure and efficient.
