Gmail Account is Not Enabled for IMAP Use - Error

​​Your account is not enabled for IMAP use. Please visit your Gmail settings page and enable your account for IMAP access. 

MigrationWiz uses IMAP to access the email contents from Google. IMAP is not enabled for the mailbox you are attempting to migrate.


  • Sign in to your Google account .
  • Click on Settings in the upper-right corner of your browser.
  • Click on the Forwarding and POP/IMAP tab.
  • In the IMAP Access section, click on Enable IMAP.
  • Click on Save Changes.
